A strong financial forecast for 2025 is reinforcing GE Aerospace’s strategic position within the defense and aviation sectors. The company’s latest results not only surpassed profit expectations but also drew increased investor attention through new artificial intelligence partnerships. This performance appears to set a solid foundation for the current fiscal year.

Dividend Hike and Quarterly Performance

For the fourth quarter of 2025, the corporation reported earnings per share of $1.57, a figure that comfortably exceeded market estimates of $1.43. Revenue saw significant growth, climbing 17.6% year-over-year to reach $11.90 billion. In response to these positive developments, management announced an increase in the quarterly dividend to $0.47 per share.

Following a recent record run, the stock is experiencing mild consolidation in today’s trading. Shares are currently quoted at €289.00, representing a decline of 2.36%. Despite this near-term movement, the fundamental picture remains strong, evidenced by a share price gain of more than 50% over the preceding twelve-month period.

Strategic Alliances and Defense Contracts

GE Aerospace has secured notable achievements in the defense arena recently. Collaborations are strengthening its market standing, including a partnership with Kratos on engines for the U.S. Air Force and a joint venture with Palantir for AI-assisted maintenance of J85 engines. The critical question for long-term investors is whether these technological advances can sustain the growth momentum.

Market experts at Morgan Stanley maintain an optimistic view, reiterating their “Overweight” rating with a price target of $425. While some executives recently utilized the elevated share price for stock sales, several institutional investors have concurrently expanded their holdings. This activity underscores continued confidence in the company’s strategic direction.

Forward Guidance for 2026

Looking ahead, company leadership has expressed confidence for the coming months. For the full 2026 fiscal year, management anticipates earnings per share to land between $7.10 and $7.40. Investors should also note a key upcoming date: March 9, 2026, is the ex-dividend date for the next payout, with payment scheduled for April 27.

Her work focuses on connecting macro shifts to individual stocks: how NATO procurement budgets feed European defense order books, why a Fed rate hold reshapes auto financing, or how a pre-revenue nuclear company like Oklo ends up carrying an $11 billion valuation. She has a particular interest in the overlap between heavy industry and emerging technology, quantum computing, AI infrastructure, and next-generation defense systems, and writes with an emphasis on the numbers behind the narrative rather than the headline itself.
