This page explains what we do when we get something wrong, and how to tell us about an error.
What we cover
Primary Ignition covers the motor industry, starting with the UK and Europe: car makers, electric vehicles and charging, recalls and safety, regulation, the automotive supply chain and the business of motorsport. Our archive also includes earlier coverage of defence, aerospace and industrial companies.
What our articles are not
Nothing on Primary Ignition is investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security. Figures are correct to the best of our knowledge at the time of publication and can change quickly. See our Disclaimer.
We are not currently accepting sponsored articles or guest posts.
Corrections
If we publish something that is wrong, we correct it. Factual corrections are made in the article and recorded in a dated note at the foot of the piece that says what was changed. We do not quietly rewrite a story to remove a mistake.
If an article cannot be corrected because its central claim was wrong, we remove it.
How to report an error
Use our Contact page. Please include the address of the article and tell us what you believe is wrong, with a source if you have one. We read every report.
