Astonishing Art: The Real Ghostbusters…II?!?

We learned last month that a new Ghostbusters animated series is in the works at Netflix, not to mention an animated feature film.

While I don’t expect them to go back to the Real Ghostbusters well, Badoochi Studios has provided us with a really fun glimpse at what such a take might look like. I particularly enjoy the Phoebe and Podcast characters done in the Real Ghostbusters style.

I mean…a semi-revival of The Real Ghostbusters would make a hell of splash, right? Does it have to be out of the question?

Toy Chest Theater: Ghostbusters Day with Mitchel Wu

I’ve been looking for an excuse to feature a Mitchel Wu shot for awhile. Low and behold, an opportunity has presented itself. Wu posted this image just in time for today, the 37th anniversary of the release of Ghostbusters, a.k.a. Ghostbusters Day!

Fun fact: In The Nightmare Before Christmas, Zero (seen below) was voiced by Frank Welker, an iconic voice actor who also voiced Ray Stantz and Slimer in The Real Ghostbusters.
